To update this Chicago kitchen as seen in House Beautifu l, interior designer SuzAnn Kletzien moved the sink to the window, modernizing it with grey cabinets and a wood island. The hexagonal tile floor in white and shades of grey, picks up the tones from around the room. .

Fez tile is a classic Moroccan design that works incredibly well as a modern, geometric pattern great for floors and walls of bathrooms and kitchens. It makes for a superior floor area with a European feel and a soft color palette.

When Issac Aptaker decided to update the old bathroom in his Silverlake, Los Angeles home, he remembered the blue and white Fez cement tiles he’d seen at nearby coffee shop Intelligentsia.
