However, my recent project in Boston has made me realize that it can be fun and very creative to work in a more “traditional/ formal” mindset. The history and the architecture of Boston inspired me to remember that the cleaner lines of many of today’s interiors all trace back to European and even early American inspiration!

The Perfect Bath

To start, for the guest powder bath I have selected the Waterworks Compass pendant in unlacquered brass. The room is a very small bath squeezed around a very large chimney. I love the Compass light, especially in brass, and have decided that despite the bath’s diminutive size, mixing finishes was the thing to do.
