The Massachusetts State House

The Perfect Bath

Last week I attended the awards celebration of New England Chapter Institute of Classical Architecture and Art held at the State House in Boston, a fabulous Charles Bulfinch building built in 1798 with later additions. It is sited close to the summit of the south side of Beacon Hill overlooking Boston Common and the Back Bay.

Pendant Lights for a Kitchen or Bath Refresh

The Perfect Bath

To start, for the guest powder bath I have selected the Waterworks Compass pendant in unlacquered brass. The room is a very small bath squeezed around a very large chimney. I love the Compass light, especially in brass, and have decided that despite the bath’s diminutive size, mixing finishes was the thing to do.
