I also loved the beautiful mosaics on display. Nature enhanced in mosaics (Photo Courtesy: Sicis). Teak look tile from Italy (Photo Courtesy: Cerdisa). Sicis is always a leader in this area, and did not disappoint at Coverings! In addition to the classic squares, they showed off a beautiful botanical motif in their Neocolibri series.

I also saw a nice selection of colorful leaf mosaics around the show floor. Glossy wood-look tile from Italy (Photo Courtesy: Sant’Agostino). Style trend #2 – newer looks. Oxidized stones came on strong this year. I love the mellow industrial appeal of this style. They were pretty and playful, and I’d love to see more of those.

The trip will end in Valencia when everyone on the Passport of Creativity tour will attend Cevisama, one of Europes (and therefor the worlds) largest tile and bath trade shows.
