Grey, white, black remain the top three colors in that order for both floor and walls with greige (gray-beige) following as a close fourth depending on the collection’s design inspiration. The complimentary colors of choice have shifted from the oceanic blues, teals and turquoise that were solidly in place for the past 2 years.

Every winter, color authority Pantone announces its color of the new year. This time, it’s one of my favorites! My bedroom walls at Chez J are painted a slightly lighter violet. I find it both warm and soothing. Plus, it also sets off my art collection beautifully.
