According to the description provided by the architects, all spaces contain elements of the past, often manifested as objects of intrigue: the sloping floor, the barge scrolls on the front fence, the roof tiles, the chimney as water collector and the up-cycling of former building elements such as decks, gates, architraves and furniture.

Not too long ago, we published a gallery depicting a penthouse design by Archetonic , a project where lightweight geometry was the key of a clean, modern design scheme. Penthouse Diamante is located in Mexico City, Mexico and displays a contemporary style with simple lines and seemingly floating furniture units.

Paul Cremoux Studio completed Casa Nirau , an upgrade of a two-story family home in Mexico City. “The main living/dining area can be completely open onto the deck, making the relatively small indoor space larger.” The sustainable house offers a flexible lifestyle, merging indoor and outdoor activities.

This important design element was imagined as pivoting the whole floor plan. Here, the open floor plan extends to the garden and covered deck in the backyard. Spreading over three levels, this modern family home known as the V House sums up 354 square meters organized around a central staircase.
