It’s one of the most versatile, durable, low maintenance design materials available anywhere. I’ve enjoyed seeing those in Italy, Greece, Germany, California’s Central Coast and Mexico on trips. It looks like exotic stone, but is more affordable and easier to live with. I love tile!

Studio 2 Pi Architecture completed the design and development of Villa Melana , a contemporary seaside residence in Greece. With a spectacular contrast between the white ceiling beams and the stone walls, the open-plan kitchen and dining area is the design highlight of the house.

The courtyard focuses on a babbling fountain designed in exquisitely crafted, boldly colored tile and a seating area surfaced in clay pavers where friends and family congregate over a bottle of wine and plate of cheese and fruit. Emphasis was given to the pools and fountains and there was great variety in these designs. design ideas.
