'Fred from our Des Moines, IA store just sent me these photos. They are from the Huy Fong Foods new U.S. headquarters in Satna Ana, CA. The artchitect was visting Des Moines and stopped into the Tile Shop- he said the Stanley mosaic [link] had the perfect texture he had been searching for in his quest for a subtle yet elegant waterfall. Thanks for the photos Fred.great job!!

I have now added them to 3 different clients master closets that originally didnt have any daylight and now they are being flooded with it! The innovative tube shaped designs transfer light through attic space and deliver light in ways that traditional skylights cant.

'The real stuff of exhibitions: lists, plans, glasses and tape. Lots of tape. Yesterday afternoon, Entra Magazine got a special installation walk-through of The Golden State of Craft: California 1960–1985 , a new exhibition opening this weekend at the Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles. The show is a collaborative effort between CAFAM and Craft in America , and is part of the Getty initiative, Pacific Standard Time.

'This afternoon, Mary Nichols and I spent the afternoon at the Museum of California Design ''s 2011 award benefit honoring designer, artist, and craftsman Peter Shire , at the Dan House in Malibu. It was a gorgeous afternoon and we met lots of fantastic people. On the way out, I couldn''t resist taking a few snaps of the house. It was built by Frank Israel in 1995, and has incredible canyon and ocean views.
