My father worked for Franciscan Tile for 30 years, and then purchased their San Diego location, renaming it Southwestern Ceramic Tile and Marble Company. What does the training consist of?

Cement tiles are made with a mixture of cement, sand, pigment, and marble powder and are compressed with 2,000 pounds of pressure to seal in the design. Ceramic tiles are painted with a powdered glaze or clay and are fired in a kiln. Cement and ceramic tiles look very similar, but cement tiles are much more durable.

I have already compensated for its tiny size with vintage pieces, dark paint, a moody photograph, a single hole Julia lav set in chrome (though I can’t remember why the chrome finish was selected years ago) and a beautiful 3cm honed Danby marble counter top.
