This minimalist holiday house completed in 2013 by Savioz Fabrizzi Architecte in Ayent, Switzerland has an interesting history behind. The original stones, the bricks added in the eighties and the contemporary concrete modifications are disclosed and a dark painting makes all these raw textures uniform. This renovated stone house in a historic village in Switzerland is not only a dream come true for its owners, but an example for modernizing historic homes. An additional annex made of the same stone used to shelter a small grape brandy distillery on the ground floor, a room upstairs and an attic space under the roof.
