Trim is needed for outside edges and around corners and niches in order to cover the cut tile be it porcelain or ceramic. If all else fails take a piece of tile to a paint store and have them match it even if it is a multi color and just paint the edges with a China brush.

However, I did refinish the tub and paint the outside the same color as the vanity. You’ll notice the paint is gorgeous, and yes, my clothes are all stained now. The wall paint is Benjamin Moore China White, the tub is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter, and the trim is Benjamin Moore Simply White- and it’s simply fantastic.

What makes these pieces particularly special is that the color is blended into the porcelain before they are molded and fired. They’re hand painted with a gold confetti brushstroke and rim, glossed on the inside and left rough on the outside. The set is crafted of bone china with a gold gilt edge. Which, honestly, is everything.
