Florida, August 2016 – Before and afters are such a fun part of design, reminiscing the old and celebrating the new. However, I did refinish the tub and paint the outside the same color as the vanity. You’ll notice the paint is gorgeous, and yes, my clothes are all stained now. and it can serve as a shower and tub.

January 2016 – Baltimore, MD – As a design consultant at Architectural Ceramics in Canton, a neighborhood of Baltimore City, I recently had the privilege of meeting a great couple that allowed me to create a mosaic design for the fireplace in their Bolton-Hill home in downtown Baltimore. It was my “ah-ha” moment!

From first planning till August 2016, the journey from industrial laundry to a new hub for manufacturing and gathering in San Francisco’s Mission took five years. Even seemingly peripheral architectural components, like ducting and process piping, are a key part of the beauty of the building.

The ground floor of the extension hosts a living and dining room, connected with kitchen and laundry, opening out into the garden. The second floor of the extension has the children’s bedrooms, and a balcony overlooking the garden. The original home was finished in weatherboard cladding, which had been painted white.
