While I love my white tile, I decided it was time to paint the walls. Happy 2016. Everything has a specific place now, and it looks really great.

The first book I owned about mosaic was by Kaffe Fassett, and I was drawn to his use of color. Fasset’s first medium was painting and painted only in shades of white! I just wanted all the color.

I used an integrally colored siding for this year’s playhouse so the plan was to get everything built and painted prior to installing the siding. Next trip to the job site, all the standing seam G90 metal roofing panels were installed, and all the exterior trim boards and rafters had been painted. Pretty slick, right?
