We had the cabinets sanded and painted. The walls are painted BM China White and the trim is BM Simply White (the window trim was unfinished wood). For the main counter, we did 4×8 Neri White Glossy Ceramic Field Tile and 2×8 matching bullnose for the edge.

2) Look what a difference just painting red brick does.The architecture of the fireplace now really stands out instead of the color, so do those woods floors. So we covered up the brick with black granite tiles and painted the tired wood white so now the dental moldings really show up. What a difference a little paint can make.
