I also noticed that when writing my book, The Perfect Bath , there were a number of photo submissions with colorful wallpapers and paint. For many years the tiny powder bath at the foot of the stairs in my house was painted white. I disovered it is a great compliment to the Danby marble mosaic floor and slab counter. on average.

2) Look what a difference just painting red brick does.The architecture of the fireplace now really stands out instead of the color, so do those woods floors. So we covered up the brick with black granite tiles and painted the tired wood white so now the dental moldings really show up. What a difference a little paint can make.
