Studio Geometrium completed the design of an industrial apartment with a masculine feel in Kotelniki, Russia. The designers also “added” the balcony to the room, by transforming it into a casual space for relaxation. As you step inside, you notice the unconventional layout of this home.

Welcome to a cheerful small apartment envisioned by Geometrium and located in Lensovetovskij, a village near Saint Petersburg, Russia. The overall design pays tribute to creativity and function: “We divided the sleeping area and made a separate dressing room. Full-sized folding doors were used to save more space in the apartment.

We got used to Swedish homes displaying unassuming comfortable decors, with a cheerful vibe throughout. The loft (to be developed in Murmansk, Russia) is bright and spacious due to its large windows, high ceilings and clever decorating scheme. With a raw, genuine look, the kitchen is the focal part of the social area.

Beyond the Bed: The American Quilt Evolution covers two hundred years of American quilts from early 19th century four poster bed covers to contemporary designs that are more art installation than object. They were preserved by permafrost in a remote part of Russia and discovered by a scientific exhibition in 1924.
