This particular modern river house is located on the banks of the Neris River, in Lithuania’s Vilnius County. Retaining the existing trees around the house and even commemorating the former birch through the design concept, architects imagined a home where you would feel outdoors in any space.

Studija Lape completed the Yacht House , a modern residence in a suburb of Vilnius, Lithuania, near the edge of a forest. Straight lines evolve into rounded walls and curving design elements, evoking the feeling of being on a large yacht. Soaring ceilings and walls of windows create a bright, airy feeling in the contemporary house.
